A small step up places you on the main stage- the kitchen- from where you can entertain, conduct, orchestrate, and most of all, observe and bask in the stunning main living areas of the home. The kitchen is built-out in classic American walnut, with layers of remote-controlled illumination at every level, whether for ambiance or task-based use, as well as endless built-in storage solutions throughout. The quartz counters include one large apron front single-basin copper sink and a smaller, also copper, wet bar sink in the island. The main overhead lighting includes three historical works of art, namely an authentic set of antique brass and stainless steel nautical lamps salvaged from a cargo ship and refurbished with LED for modern use. There are additional dedicated storage areas accessible from the main living area, including two lofted spaces - one close to the entry which could also serve as exhibition for art, and a second at the other end of the home with built-in stairs leading to a queen bed for guests or quiet reading.
